I am a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and I work with people who bring a broad range of issues by using gentle yet powerful techniques to help clients discover healthy strategies for coping. I see counselling and therapeutic work as a collaborative process in which the client brings her or his experiences in both a conscious and an unconscious way and I bring my awareness, my experience and my respectful curiosity. I work using a broadly humanistic approach developed principally from two sources, Gestalt Therapy which is an holistic therapy and emphasizes personal responsibility and Six Category Intervention Analysis. At the present time I am also undertaking an advanced course in body psychotherapy and I would be happy to offer a reduced fee to clients interested in undertaking this form of therapy.
